1) Leg Lunges - If you are truly serious about raising your vertical jump, then you must include lunges to your workout routine. Seriously this is pretty elementary if you want to get great extension on your jumps. There are different variables that you can implement when doing lunges. You can do lateral lunges, side lunges, and/or diagonal lunges. All of which if performed consistently will explode your leaping ability.
2) Calf raises - your calf muscle is responsible for about twenty-five percent of your overall jump. If you want to get some serious ups, you don't want to leave out calf raises. The best way to do calf raises is not on the machine like everybody else. Instead try hitting the calves from all angles by utilizing the stairs, and/or an incline platform.
